Lotus chain restaurant CEO and having other business ventures, awarded the Malaysian Indian Entrepreneur of 2005 by Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry's (MAICCI). The Star report, 04/02/05, by Krishnamorthy tried to portray Doraisingam to be a 'rag to rich' success story of selling pencil, rubber, fish and coconuts to his friends in younger days. Is it so for the man with a bloodline of the late tycoon NTS Arumugam Pillai?
