Imagining the Indian Malaysian Middle-Class By: P. Ramasamy .....During the two decades of the NEP, the Indian middle class grew only by 3.9 percent whereas the growth rate of the middle classes among Malays and Chinese were around 13 percent and 6 percent respectively.
