Since losing his Penang Deputy Chief Minister position after the Democratic Action Party (DAP) excluded him from their electoral slate, Ramasamy has consistently published articles critical of Anwar's Madani government. He often employs terms like "sycophants" and "Mandors" (Plantation supervisors during colonial period) to attack his political adversaries. His current focus on the Sri Pathrakaliamman Temple relocation and crying loss of heritage smacks hypocrisy.
Has he conveniently forgotten the destruction of ‘High Chaparral (Kg. Buah Pala)’ Penang, and the loss of more than 100 years of heritage in 2009. Who were the Sycophants and Mandor’s of Chief Minister Lim Eng Guan? What was Ramasamy’s role in forcing the resident’s relocation

Kpg Lorong Buah Pala Slammed for 'false hopes'

2009/07/10, NST -- Meanwhile, the village residents' association assistant secretary C. Tharmaraj said he was making 20,000 DVDs showing a 10-minute video of DAP politicians and opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim making promises (to save their village) during the general election last year.

"The people shown in the video, other than Anwar, are Bukit Gelugor member of parliament Karpal Singh, Seri Delima assemblyman R.S.N. Rayer and deputy chief minister (II) Dr P. Ramasamy".

"Former Chief Minister Koh Soo Koon sold the land for RM 3.2 million, 10 times lower than the market rate

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng issued the title for the land 0n March 28 2008. Ramasamy was the DeputyChief.

when Lim announced Prof P Ramasamy as the first ever Indian Deputy Chief Minister 2 in the country's history, Penang Indians gushed with pride.

Fast-forward 17 months: The ‘feel good' factor and optimism have completely dissipated. Unfulfilled promises and continued marginalisation had turned the mood to one of utter disenchantment.

Prof P Ramasamy has turned out to be a mere mandor (overseer) for the DAP-led government. The current raging issue of Kampung Buah Pala is the last straw that broke the camel's back" - .Tanglimara, Malaysiakini, 20/07/2029

"Why isn't the present Penang state government giving a transparent statement of facts on the whole situation. Who are the perpetrators of this land scam? And, if proven, surely there is a legal and moral obligation for this government to step in and revert the land title to its original status quo."-Hindraf leader P Uthayakumar's 22/07/2009.Who was the Mandor?
